was established as a registered company in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in 1997 to provide contract mining and civils earthworks construction services to the mining industry. Since its inception the company has gained a solid reputation in the mining sector and in civil earthworks projects associated with the mining industry. MCK has delivered contract mining services and bulk earthworks projects and contract mining services on schedule, at cost, and to high standards of proficiency. MCK views each project independently to uniquely meet the client’s requirements and provides expertise and equipment to achieve objectives, schedules and scope of works. The company’s personnel have many years of experience and have acquired knowledge in efficient mining and earthworks construction.

 

Since its establishment MCK has mined in excess of 200,000,000 BCM’s of ore/waste and in the process employed and trained over 2000 national employees.

 

MCK proved its sustainability by surviving the economic crisis of 2008/2009 and emerging as a stronger and better positioned company for future works.

 

MCK strives for the highest levels in safety and recently was recognized as a major contributor to the Ruashi Mining achievement of 5,000,000 Fatality Free shift.
